Prayer, Meditation And Internet Marketing

"The Earth is but one country, and mankind it's citizens." --Baha'u'llah

The first question you must ask yourself before becoming involved in internet marketing is: Do I have the time and enough money to have a reasonable chance of success? Then ask yourself, which is the best internet marketing program to become involved in? Do your homework by doing some investigation, then do some prayer and meditation, this will help you to have a clear vision of your goal. There are several sources for videos and ebooks with training courses on marketing, do a Google Search for these sources, using key words such as internet, marketing, training, courses, newbies, education, home, business, etc.

For best marketing programs - do a Google Search on the program - for scam warnings - also check the internet BBB (Better Business Bureau). Then take a good look at the program it self, there is usually a free trial period. Then do some more prayer and meditation - pray for detachment and guidance. Also, do some consultation with other internet marketers via blogs or Yahoo Groups.

Then choose the program that you feel is the best for you. Then comes the hard part: to stay focused. Do not get distracted by other programs that promise instant wealth or income in only two or three months. Concentrate on your program, pray and meditate everyday. Be patient, because it TAKES TIME. Remember, after praying and meditating, take ACTION. A program that I would highly recommend for marketing education is the MPAM PROGRAM. There is other information on this blog in regards to meditation (how to, effects of, scientific proof of benefits, etc.) see the index to this blog on my August 11 post.

Think - Before You Act

Think About What Your Going To Do by Dick Richardson

Hard to say what's on anyone's mind. We may not know what people are thinking, but I do know that if we all thought a little bit more about what we did we would be happier.

So many decisions in life come from impulse, knowing that we should do something else yet we don't. Choosing the wrong decisions on purpose because we want the drama in our life, because we are not happy with the way things are.

Some people will say they do not believe that is true and others will understand, but have you ever done anything when you looked back and later said… "What was I thinking??" We knew what was wrong when we did it and we did it anyway, your conscence was split and you chose wrong. Do we want to no longer have that set of problems. Has one part of us finally out grown the other.

Well what happens if that is true? What if what we do is really based on some internal instinct to not want peace? Only when we get older in age do we start to calm down and find our inner peace, is it because the older we get the "smarter" we are?

True we get smarter by learning as we age but think of something that has changed in our life often… When you start out as a teen you wanted a certain thing and that was all that mattered. It was everything to you, then you got older and you had a new set of priorities, and lets face it only a very few number of people can honestly say they never expereinced a great change through there life.

How can you use this information to benefit yourself? Well learn to see. Learn to notice when everything is going right and that it is just the inner person in us all that is not content…

Imagine if you could stop yourself before you did something that you would later regret, all it takes is a little bit of thinking on our part. Although it is not easy, most could benefit from a little bit of soul searching and wondering if what they are doing and thinking is always the right choice.

Learning to know when we are really happy and when we are just not content with ourselves is very important to learning to live a balanced life. It is not always easy, but that is only because we make it that way.

Spiritual Transformation: The Medicine Wheel

"The Earth is but one country and mankind its citizens." --Baha'u'llah

The Medicine Wheel

We will demonstrate: That the "ideal" community can be established anywhere in the world. We can start with the healing and spiritual transformation processes for the individual, family and community - using traditional aboriginal healing practices, ceremonies, games, and other cultural activities. Also, there are many other innovative ways to stimulate, motivate, and encourage the people to take part in the rebuilding of their community.

The physical development of the community will take place by using the alternatives or appropriate technologies, which are available to us. Some learning and research will have to take place in this area. The physical development of the community must fit-in with the culture of the people and not be harmful to the environment.

Spiritual Transformation: The Medicine Wheel:

The Person:

1) North-Mental
2) West-Physical
3) South-Emotional
4) East-Spiritual

This expands (or extends) to the next ring in the circle: The Family or Clan:

1) Dominant Thinking Patterns
2) Physical Environment and the Economy
3) Human Relations
4) Cultural and Spiritual Life

This in turn expands to the next ring in the circle: The Community:

1) Political and Administrative
2) Economic and Environmental
3) Social
4) Cultural and Spiritual

Then the Wider World:

1) Political and Ideological Environment
2) Economic and Ecological Environment
3) Social Environment
4) Cultural Environment

Spiritual Transformation --- Healing --- Learning

A) Prayer, Meditation, Visualization, Consultation

B) Drum Dance, Purification Lodge, Vision Quest, Hand Games

C) Workshops, Institutes, Talking Circles, Activities

D) Working Together, Serving Each Other, Having FUN Together, Cultural Activities

Building: Unity, Friendships, Trust, Community

Starting The Spiritual Transformation Process

Ways To Start Taking Control Of Your Life by Ted Cedar

Time management, Goal Setting And Record Tracking

At first glance, it would seem that positive thinking and Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) have nothing to do with one another. But many of us with ADD develop negative thinking patterns because we become frustrated by our challenges and frequent feelings of being overwhelmed. This negative outlook then makes it even harder for us to manage those challenges and move forward.

Practicing positive thinking allows people with ADD to focus on our strengths and accomplishments, which increases happiness and motivation. This, in turn, allows us to spend more time making progress, and less time feeling down and stuck. The following tips provide practical suggestions that you can use to help you shift into more positive thinking patterns:

1. Take Good Care of Yourself

It's much easier to be positive when you are eating well, exercising, and getting enough rest.

2. Remind Yourself of the Things You Are Grateful For

Stresses and challenges don't seem quite as bad when you are constantly reminding yourself of the things that are right in life. Taking just 60 seconds a day to stop and appreciate the good things will make a huge difference.

3. Look for the Proof Instead of Making Assumptions
A fear of not being liked or accepted sometimes leads us to assume that we know what others are thinking, but our fears are usually not reality. If you have a fear that a friend or family member's bad mood is due to something you did, or that your co-workers are secretly gossiping about you when you turn your back, speak up and ask them. Don't waste time worrying that you did something wrong unless you have proof that there is something to worry about.

4. Refrain from Using Absolutes

Have you ever told a partner "You're ALWAYS late!" or complained to a friend "You NEVER call me!"? Thinking and speaking in absolutes like 'always' and 'never' makes the situation seem worse than it is, and programs your brain into believing that certain people are incapable of delivering.

5. Detach From Negative Thoughts

Your thoughts can't hold any power over you if you don't judge them. If you notice yourself having a negative thought, detach from it, witness it, and don't follow it.

6. Squash the "ANTs"

In his book "Change Your Brain, Change Your Life," Dr. Daniel Amen talks about "ANTs" - Automatic Negative Thoughts. These are the bad thoughts that are usually reactionary, like "Those people are laughing, they must be talking about me," or "The boss wants to see me? It must be bad!" When you notice these thoughts, realize that they are nothing more than ANTs and squash them!

7. Practice Lovin', Touchin' & Squeezin' (Your Friends and Family)

You don't have to be an expert to know the benefits of a good hug. Positive physical contact with friends, loved ones, and even pets, is an instant pick-me-up. One research study on this subject had a waitress touch some of her customers on the arm as she handed them their checks. She received higher tips from these customers than from the ones she didn't touch!

8. Increase Your Social Activity

By increasing social activity, you decrease loneliness. Surround yourself with healthy, happy people, and their positive energy will affect you in a positive way!

9. Volunteer for an Organization, or Help another Person

Everyone feels good after helping. You can volunteer your time, your money, or your resources. The more positive energy you put out into the world, the more you will receive in return.

10. Use Pattern Interrupts to Combat Rumination

If you find yourself ruminating, a great way to stop it is to interrupt the pattern and force yourself to do something completely different. Rumination is like hyper-focus on something negative. It's never productive, because it's not rational or solution-oriented, it's just excessive worry. Try changing your physical environment - go for a walk or sit outside. You could also call a friend, pick up a book, or turn on some music.

When it comes to the corporate world, protocol is pretty much the religion. To know the things needed to do are the basics of productivity, but interaction and having a steady mind makes up the entire thing to true productivity. There are those who seem to work well even under pressure, but they're uncommon ones and we are human and imperfect. To get these little things like stress under our skins won't solve our problems. Sometimes it takes a bit of courage to admit that we're turning to be workaholics than tell ourselves that we're not doing our best.

How To Visualize

How To Visualize Something: 3 Tips To Visualize Something Easily And Effectively by Michael Lee

Want to know how to visualize something effectively? You must be able to create images of what you want and focus on your goals. This obviously poses a lot of advantages and puts you ahead of other people.

Learning how to visualize something properly can be helpful in dealing with work stress and other challenges that might come between you and your goal. In this article, you'll be able to learn how to concentrate on creating mental pictures of what you want… with less difficulty.

1) Clear Your Mind.

Sometimes, there are just too many things going on that it's difficult to quiet the mind when you need to. Clutter in the mind keeps you from being able to visualize something effectively.

To get rid of the noise, try doing a little bit of meditation at a specific hour every day. This gives you the time to relax your mind and increase your concentration skills.

2) Start With Something Simple.

You might find it difficult to visualize something you don't have yet, so why not begin with something you're already familiar with?

Here's how to visualize something easily - start with your own house. Try mapping it with only your mind's eye - where the kitchen is, what the colors of the tiles are, etc.

The more detailed your visualization is, the better. The more you get used to it, the easier it will be for you to visualize your goals in the future.

3) Add Emotions Into The Mix.

When you practice visualization, adding feeling into it makes the images more real. The more real your images are, the more effective your visualization is.

If you visualize a garden full of flowers, you don't only imagine the colors in the garden. You also visualize the smell and the feeling of actually being there yourself.

Learning how to visualize something can be practiced several times a day. Random visualizations help you out more than you realize. At work, you can start visualizing your new and better office during your short coffee breaks. Or at school, you can even visualize about acing that exam as you're studying for it.

Another Application of the Law of Attraction

Living In Gratitude by Mary Angela

The Secret of the Law Of Attraction is Gratitude! But the real secret is in how to apply the Law into your daily life.

It all starts with Gratitude...

In these days when everyone is screaming that the sky is falling, now is the best time to start living a Life Of Gratitude! Be thankful for what you have now! Don't dwell on the past, don't worry about the future.

In The Secret, Bob Proctor advises us to start every day with a list of things we are grateful for, he suggests that we start each sentence with "I am so happy and grateful now that...." and you finish the sentence with what you are grateful for. In my own case, every morning I go out on the roof deck and gaze down at the city or up into the sky and mentally go over those things that I am thankful for. Some days it is the beautiful view, other days I am thankful to be alive. Whatever comes to me at the moment is where I start. You will find that if you try this exercise every morning, every day will be a bit brighter!

It could be said that learning the Secret to the Law Of Attraction is really learning how to pray. Or rather, relearning how to pray.

God has given us a world full of abundance! It is ours, it is our birthright as children of God to live happy, healthy, wealthy lives full of abundance!

It is mentioned in the teachings of Jesus when he speaks of the sparrow that doesn't worry where his next meal is coming from, the sparrow has faith, the sparrow knows it will be there when he needs it!

The first step, as far as I see it is to practice Gratitude, real gratitude, everyday, every waking moment!

When I was a child I was taught to kneel at the side of the bed and give thanks to God for all the good in my life. That is practicing Gratitude and there is much to be grateful for in all of our lives!

When you appreciate and give thanks for the good things in your life, by the very law of attraction, you will be bringing more good things into your life. Yes, it is that simple and it can be started right now!

Are you grateful that you have eyes to read this, that you have a computer to read it on, that you learned how to read in the first place? Of course you are! But how often do you take the time to give thanks?

The more you practice gratitude, the deeper it gets, the more spiritual it becomes and the more your spirit gets nourished!

Start living a Life of Gratitude today and watch the world change before your very eyes!

Overcoming The Fear of Failure

Fear of Failure: What Does Failure Mean to You? - by Margaret Paul, Ph.D.

What do you believe about failure?

The ego wounded part of ourselves, the left-brain part of ourselves that has been programmed with many false beliefs, often believes that:

"If I fail, I am a failure." "If I fail, I am stupid." "If I fail, no one will like me or value me." "If I fail, then there is no point in ever trying again." "If I fail, it brands me for life as incompetent." "If I fail, then everyone who thought I was smart will now think I am stupid." "If I fail, I will have made a fool of myself."

On the other hand, the loving adult part of us - our right brain, open, creative and learning part of us - generally believes that:

"If I fail, then I just need to work harder, to put in more effort." "If I fail, I will have learned valuable lessons that will eventually lead to success." "Failure is a part of life. No one succeeds without some failure." "Failure does not at all reflect on my worth as a person. I am intrinsically worthy, regardless of success or failure." "Failure offers me incredible opportunities to think outside the box, to think creatively. Let's get to work!" "I love learning and I love challenges. What I do is not about success or failure - it is about the joy of creativity, learning and expressing who I am."

Which way of thinking prevails within you? What are the consequences to you of allowing yourself to think from your wounded self instead of from your loving adult?

FAILURE - A PART OF LIFE

The fact is that mistakes and failure ARE a part of life. Instead of fearing them, why not make it okay to make mistakes and to fail? Why not take the onus off of failure? Why not embrace the process of learning and growing instead of only being focused on the outcome of your efforts? Why not focus on enjoying the process of learning and creating something that is important to you?

People who don't worry about success or failure, who instead are excited about their learning and growing process, generally find their way to succeed. The reason for this is that they don't let failure stop them. Instead, failure spurs them on to work harder, to put forth even more effort to learn what they need to learn to succeed.

On the other hand, even very smart people, who are dominated by their ego wounded selves, generally allow failure to derail them. Believing they ARE a failure if they fail, they become too afraid to make more effort. In addition, they often believe that success or failure is not dependent on effort, but on ability. When this is their belief, they often give up at the first sign of failure, fearing that, if their natural intelligence and ability is not leading to success, then there is no point in trying harder.

CREATING SUCCESS

Every successful person knows that effort, creativity, openness to learning, and perseverance are what create success, not necessarily high intelligence, talent, or ability. Every truly successful person is someone who has not allowed failure to stop him or her from forging ahead with passion and purpose.

I encourage you to tell yourself that it is okay to make mistakes and okay to fail. I encourage you to see mistakes and failures as wonderful learning opportunities for growth. I encourage you to let go of the outcome and allow yourself to become fully excited about the process learning, of growth, and of creation. Being fully present and excited for the process is what life is all about!

Purpose of Life

The True Purpose of Life by Marie C Barrett

This is perhaps the most important question anyone can ask: What is the purpose and meaning of life? All the material possessions and attainments you gain; all the relationships in which you are involved; everything you achieve; all the glorious thoughts and dreams you entertain; all the feelings and emotions you experience; all of these originate in one place, and lead to one destination: the ever expanding YOU.

Who and what you are, govern all the results you have: your success or failure; your achievements, your relationships, your thoughts, your feelings. And in turn all these things you experience and enjoy, are for the benefit and delight and learning of you, your BEing. And so the cycle of life continues, but always, the central focus in your life must be YOU.

"You are the purpose of your existence." writes philosopher and mystic, Thomas Michael Powell (www.pyscanics.org). "Although few people understand it, the purpose of your existence is to perfection yourself, to polish your being. The purpose is to move from who and how you are now, to who and how you want to be."

So if the purpose of your life is to move from who and how you are now to who and how you want to be in this life, what are you doing about it? How are you "perfectioning" yourself?

You do this by experiencing who you are in ever more expanding self-awareness and self-accepting love. Then you can begin designing who you want to BE-come.

If you want to "perfection" yourself, you can only work (focus) on one aspect of yourself at a time; change that, then focus on the next aspect.

Who and how do you want to be? What do you want to achieve or experience in your life? What's stopping you from experiencing this right now? What kind of person will you have to become in order to be able to fulfil your dream? What changes can you begin to make today, in your character and consciousness that will gravitate you toward being this more empowered and aware person?

You can see that you will have to make serious and expansive changes to your character if you want to become the person of your dreams. And this is the purpose of life in a nutshell: To discover who and how you are now; to envision who and how you want to be, and then to take the necessary steps to get you from where you are now to where you want to be.

So every day, working on some small aspect of your self will gradually evolve you into who you want to be. Then at the end of your days, you will be able to say with the great sage: It is no longer I that live; it is My Father that lives in me". What does he mean by these words? He means that he knew who and how he was. He had raised his light-filled awareness and expanded his love-filled consciousness so much that he knew he came from the One and was headed home to re-integration with the One (the Father and I are one).

And this, my friend, is your purpose in life; to "perfection" your being and move to your ultimate destiny: re-integration with your Source. The purpose of life is not about what you have or achieve, it's about who and what you BEcome, then everything you desire will fall into place.
