Want to Reduce Your Electricity Bill Up to 80% While Helping the Planet? Learn More by Regan Edwards

Electricity is one of those bills that I dread getting every month. I can shut off all the lights keeping everything to a minimum but still my bill is astronomical. There are tons of ways to save on energy costs but unfortunately I don't have an extra thousand dollars kicking around to get me set up.

Sure there are the little ways like shutting off the lights, keeping the heat down, and turning the AC off. But most things that I use are unavoidable; I have to run the dishwasher everyday, do the two loads of laundry sitting in the basket, and not to mention all the appliances that need to be on.

I have been doing some research on saving energy ever since the big blackout a couple years back. I'm sure you remember that, I lost two freezers full of meat, sure we had a big bbq but that did not change the fact that I had to dump $500 worth of food in the garbage.

Switching to a renewable energy source seemed like the only way to go. With power consumption sky rocketing it is a very practical solution. How many times a year does the power go off where you live? This summer alone our power has been off 10 times, twice it took almost 24 hours to come back on. That's a LONG time, especially when you have kids that can't grasp the concept quite yet.

How do you go about getting renewable energy?? There are three forms of energy that I can think of off the top of my head, solar, wind and water. Most people are aware these resources exist but how to we use them to help us save on energy costs?

A man named Michael Harvey published a step-by-step guide that shows how to harvest the energy from solar or wind power to help reduce or even eliminate your electrical bill. He explains everything from how solar and wind power work, to storing your own energy in a home made generator. This process can work so well that the electrical companies will even pay you to use the energy that you have stored.

The world has become such an expensive place to live and no longer as predictable as it once was. What would happen if we had another blackout but this time it lasted longer then before? Would you be ready for it? This guide helps us not only prepare for such an event it helps the planet by using a renewable source of energy.

If everyone started using a renewable source of energy we could drastically help our planet and our wallets. If you would like to find out how to start using a renewable source of energy to power your home please visit Earth 4 Energy.
