Sustainable Community Energy

"The earth is but one Country, and mankind its citizens." --Baha'u'llah

In my last post the subject of using technological alternatives were briefly discussed. These alternatives will not only create sustainable communities, but will also protect the environment. Using these alternatives will create employment and improve everyones quality of life.

For example in my home community of Fort Simpson, which is located in the Northwest Territories of Canada, would be an ideal location in which to implement the use of geothermal power. Fort Simpson is located in the best area in all of North America for using geothermal power. Geothermal power is used extensively in northern British Columbia and Manitoba, making it a well established and proven source of energy.

In Fort Simpson we use fuel oil for heating and generating electrical power. Using oil is the most expensive way to heat buildings and produce electricity. For example the cost of using oil for heating and electricity in Fort Simpson is about ten million dollars a year. Using geothermal power would reduce this oil bill to zero. The use of geothermal power would reduce the pollution caused by using oil by ninety percent.

So why are we not using geothermal power in Fort Simpson? Please have a look at my Spiritual Transformation STORE by clicking on the Amazon tab at the top of the page on the right side (then scroll down).

I invite you to look at my SOCIETY GUIDE. Thank you for your time and have a wonderful day. --Larry
