"The Earth is but one country, and mankind its citizens." --Baha'u'llah

In previous articles on this blog, I talked about having a clear vision and how to view the world in a detached manner. When we are rebuilding or restructuring our communities to be sustainable, then we must be non-judgemental in our thinking, in order to bring about the required changes to build a truly sustainable community.

We must strive to become self-sufficient and self-reliant. This will make it necessary for us to change the way in which we view the world. We also need to break away from our social conditioning. Then we will be able to change the way in which we live our lives.

There are many technological alternatives available to help us become more self-sufficient. Many of these alternatives are "tried and true", and have been in use for years in various places around the world. Information on these alternatives has been for the most part ignored by our controlled media. The internet has made this information available for all to see. However, the biggest obstacle to implementing these alternatives seems to be the way in which we have been conditioned to think.

The transformation processes begin with the individual then spreads to the family, then to the community, then to the world.

"And it is us, acting together in unity of purpose, and in a harmonization of our methods with our values, that will ultimately be able to bring about the sorely needed transformation of the fundamental life-systems upon which our families and communities must depend for survival." --Michael and Judie Bopp - "Recreating the World"
